Lapland river hotel makes an excellent alternative for your conference or incentive activity in “Tornedalen”. We tailor conferences for big or small groups and we have access to Pajala municipalities largest conference rooms in connection to the hotel. In the hotel besides regular sauna there is a firewood heated sauna section outdoors, complete with hot-tub and barbecue cabin. Trough co-operation with “Pajala folkets-hus”(Pajala public house) we can offer conference and congress packages ranging from 5 to 250 persons. We arrange for your entire stay, and make sure that your conference activities and meals become an experience to remember.

On a blooming meadow just along the shore of Lainio river where the salmon comes to spawn lies “Wärdshuset”, a two storey house from the previous turn of the century preserved in its original state. You can choose between our suite, the lumberjack´s or the fisherman’s room or why not sleep in the maids old chamber… The interior of the house is old fashioned, with pieces of history as decoration. “Wärdshuset” offers food and lodging in a genuine environment, taste lapish specialties like coffeecheese and kangoskakor (Kangos biscuits) with your coffee. Our activities around “Wärdshuset” include safaris by jeep or snowmobile, hunting and fishing trips. “Wärdshuset” is an excellent environment for conferences and incentive arrangements.
