Fishing in the heart of Lapland
- Short Description: Do you want to explore the north? Here at Kengis Bruk we
have 54 kilometres of private fishing in the three great rivers
in Lapland: The rivers Torne, Lainio and Mounio. In these
three rivers we offer exclusive salmon and grayling fishing in
beautiful surroundings. At Kengis Bruk you can explore one of
the best fly fishing spots in the river Torne. The river drops
aprox.20m on a stretch of 3 kilometres, so here we have some
exceptional fine pools. Beside salmon and grayling we also
have sea trout, brown trout and white fish in these waters.
Kengis Bruk also has a couple of private creeks and a lake
with a solid stock of pike and perch.
- Start of this Program: Upon request
- Day 1 On our arrival day we will get a first introduction to the sight
and the specialties of fishing by the Kengis rapids. For dinner,
how about visiting the nearby guesthouse?
- Day 2 & 3 During the next 2 days we will enjoy fantastic fishing around
the Kengis rapids. In the mornings we will have casting
instructions from an FFF/EFFA licensed guide. In the
afternoons we can keep on fishing or how about a visit to the
close by villages of Pajala and Tärendö?
- Day 4 Today we will be fishing all on our own. It is time to use
everything we learnt in the last 2 days about fishing.
- Meals: Breakfast package in the cabins
- Equipment: possible to rent on the spot. Bring preferably your own.
