World-famous Icehotel in Jukkasjärvi
Come along on a trip to the world-famous Icehotel in Jukkasjärvi. We travel by bus and on arrival
we step in a world of ice and snow, and admire the fantastic ice sculptures and decorations
made by artists from all over the world. Visit also the Ice Church and of course the Absolut Icebar,
after about 2 hours in this extraordinary hotel, we head on to the community of Kiruna.
From where it lies today, Kiruna is due to be moved about 20 km because of the extraction carried
out by LKAB Mining in the biggest underground mine in the world.
In Kiruna we stop for lunch and afterwards we will have time to do some shopping in the biggest
community in Lapland.

Ylläs Ski Resort for a day
Transfer by bus (1 hour) to Ylläs Ski Resort in Finland. On arrival we check in at the ski centre and
choose rental equipment for our downhill skiing day.
At Ylläs Ski Resort you’ll find the highest restaurant (Kammi) in Finland at the top of Ylläs Mountain
(718m), and also restaurants halfway down on the slopes,
You can use your lift card on both sides of the mountain for different kinds of downhill skiing. Ylläs
has 21 lifts and 65 slopes.
Our guide will help you with skiing instruction and you can choose either Telemark skiing or slalom.
After a day on the slopes we have lunch in one of the restaurants, and also have time for some
shopping before the day is over.
